For larger events, I am accompanied by my assistant, who takes reference photos of each guest who wishes to be sketched. I only draw from photos that I, or my assistant take during the event, and those sketches are completed throughout the night on a first come, first serve basis.

Each illustration takes about 10 minutes per person

(approximately 16-18 minutes for two people in one sketch).

I use high end markers, pens and pencils, so there is no dry time (like with paint).

I take a more fashion illustration approach and try to capture the essence of each guest (outfit, hair, accessories).

When it's quick, I don't get too detailed in the face. For women, I like to add a cute eye lash and a smile, and for men I try to capture their facial hair and masculine jaw line.

It depends on which package you choose. I can attend your event and only sketch during that time frame, or we can agree on a number of sketches ahead of time. In that case, for guest photos that I am not able to complete during the time frame, I will complete afterwards and mail to you to distribute how you see fit. We suggest with your thank you cards! We will have signage that explains the process to the guests.
